Violin lessons

Do you want violin lessons in Enfield, North London? If you are just starting out or you want to improve your violin playing, come to the music school.

It doesn't matter if you have played violin before or you have never touched a violin, we will teach you how to play the violin to a high level. We teach either in groups or individually.

Our music school employs the finest violin teachers from around the world. Our violin teachers are highly qualified, most having been through music academy and achieved top music or teaching degrees.

If you would like to come down and visit the school, we advise that you come during the day: 10am to 3pm Monday to Friday.

All teachers (part-time and full) have been police checked. This is a major concern for most parents and we take this very seriously.

Our principal teacher or her assistant will take you on a guide of the music school and show you the classrooms where violin lessons take place.

Common questions

How do I know which violin is the right size for my child?

Here is a general guide:

1/4 size - Age 5-7
1/2 size - Age 7-10
3/4 size - Age 10-15
4/4 size - Age 15+

Please note. It is always best to ask your violin teacher for help when choosing the correct size violin for your children.
The above is only a guide and sometimes children require a smaller or bigger size than normal.

Testimonials

"Hi Graham, I find the exercises very useful indeed "How to Get Your Hand Positions and Fingering Right" in particular. The piano lessons are very clear.

I don't have a great deal of time so when lessons or tutorials are broken up into small chunks that can be practiced for a few minutes here and there, it's very useful."

Many thanks,
Mat Howlett
