Instruments And Accessories
Accessories There are an untold number of musical accessories you can buy in our store: stands, bags, cases, strings, piano stools, dust covers, adaptors and tuners are the most common. From this vast range, we have put together a small number of recommended musical accessories for each category.

Acoustic Guitars There are literally hundreds of makers of acoustic guitars. Our guitar teachers have thoroughly tested lots of the acoustic guitars on the market like Fender, Gibson, Martin, Taylor, Yamaha, Classenti, Ibanez, Vintage, Washburn etc. and have come up with a small selection of recommendations for you. You can view these in our music shop.

Classical Guitars The classical guitar is very popular amongst beginners. Most guitar teachers recommend learning the basics on a classical guitar before moving on to an acoustic, electric or bass. The main reason for this is because the strings are nylon instead of steel and are much easier on the fingers. There is nothing that will put the beginner off more than having sore fingers after their first lesson. Check out the range of classical guitars for sale here.

Electric Guitars The most popular of all musical instruments. This is due to all the famous rock and pop bands. Playing lead guitar in a band is a dream for many children. Find out what our tutors recommend for beginners.

Guitar Packs Electric or acoustic guitar packs make great presents. You get every accessory you need all packed into one box and you save £££!

Violins One of the most popular instruments. The violin is mostly played in a symphony orchestra and is a fantastic solo instrument. It is very difficult to get a nice sound out of the violin at first, but with practice the violin is one of the most beautiful sounding musical instruments.
Bass Guitars Like the acoustic guitar, there are many makers of basses. Most popular brands are Fender, Gibson, Ibanez, Classenti, Peavey, Yamaha and Vintage. We have put together a small selection of bass guitars that we believe are the most suitable for learning.

Cellos Cellos have always been one of the most popular string instruments. Like the violin, cellos are available in many different sizes to cater for all ages. Check out the recommended cellos for sale here.

Clarinets A natural progression from the recorder, the clarinet is a good instrument to learn if you want something that doesn't cost too much and is easy to carry around. See which clarinets are recommended and browse a small selection in our online shop.

Digital Pianos There are few makers of digital pianos, these are the leaders: Yamaha, Roland and Casio. The Casio is by far the best value for money and the Suzuki will do if you really cannot afford to spend much. See what is recommend here for beginners.

Keyboards Learning keyboard is fun. Keyboards offer lots of different sounds and functions. With the chord feature you can play along to any song by pressing one note at a time with the right hand. Best keyboard makers are: Yamaha, Casio, Roland and Korg.

Sheet Music Browse popular sheet music books for beginners to advanced, scales, arpegios, sonatas, concertos, theory, examination music, scores, music from the shows, duets, free sheet music books and more. Check out Bastein music books.

Music Books Books about music, history, biographies and more.

Pianos If you have the room then a grand piano is second to none, otherwise a good quality upright piano will do just nicely. Buying a good quality upright piano however is not as easy as it may sound. There are so many pianos out there, most are made in China but their name looks German - Sounds familiar? If you take our piano teacher's advice then you can't go wrong and will own a good quality piano for life. Check out the recommendations here.

Drums If you want to make yourself heard then the drums are for you. Playing drums is also very good for relieving your stress and increasing others ;-). Great drum brands are: Pearl, Yamaha, Tama, Premier, Ludwig and Sonor. Check out the recommendations here.

Flute and Whistles There is nothing quite so relaxing as listening to a flute. Find out which flutes are recommended for beginners.

Saxophones Arguably the most romantic musical instrument. The saxophone is also one of the easiest instruments to learn. The only downside is the cost. Saxophones tend to be very expensive, except for the ones made in China (please be careful here). A good quality sax can cost over £1,000. We don't keep any of these instruments on display, but please feel free to come down to our music shop to discuss saxophones with our staff.

Trumpets Thinking of playing in a brass band or Orchestra? In the brass band you are the boss. The cornet gets to play all the interesting parts that the violin gets in the symphony orchestra. The trumpet is really important in the orchestra and featured often in solos. Find out which trumpets our teachers recommend here.

Other Instruments In our music shop, we are introducing a wider range of instruments from across the world such as the Indian Tabla and Sitar, the Greek Bouzouki and the Turkish Saz.

Testimonials
"Many thanks for the prompt delivery All Talents. The dust cover arrived this morning in good condition.
A note for your records too. It is a perfect fit on my Yamaha DGX 620 and what a pleasure it is to see something that does not dominate.
Far better than all black in my opinion."
Thanks again,
Brian Preston
